Founder Readiness Assessment
Get clear on what to work on next
The Founders Table Founder Readiness Assessment is designed for early-stage founders who are still defining, testing, or building the foundation of their business.
It helps you take a structured look at where you are now, what you have already established, what is still unclear, and what should receive your attention next.
The assessment examines areas such as:
-
Your business concept
-
Your target customer
-
The problem you are solving
-
Customer discovery and evidence
-
Your product or service
-
Competitors and alternatives
-
Business model and pricing
-

responses are analyzed to create a
personalized Founder Readiness Plan.
Your plan will identify:
-
Your current founder stage
-
What you already have in place
-
What still needs to become clearer
-
Your three most important priorities
-
What may need attention before the issue you currently see as your biggest challenge

What greater readiness for Founders Table could look like
Five Founder Readiness Stages
Your assessment will place you within one of five developmental stages:
Exploration — You have an idea or general direction, but important parts of the business are still undefined.
Foundation — You are beginning to define the customer, problem, solution, and business.
Validation — You are speaking with potential customers and testing your assumptions.
Building — You have a clearer customer and solution and are actively developing or testing what you are offering.
Early Traction — You are beginning to see real customer activity such as trials, sales, repeat use, referrals, or other evidence of demand.
The goal is not to give you a score. The goal is to help you understand what type of work is most useful at your current stage.
Who this assessment is for
The Founder Readiness Assessment may be useful if you are asking questions such as:
-
What should I work on first?
-
Is my customer clear enough?
-
Have I actually validated the problem?
-
Am I building too early?
-
What evidence do I still need?
-
Am I focusing on the right priorities?
-
What would make me more ready for meaningful founder feedback?
You do not need to have a finished product or paying customers to complete the assessment.
Founder Readiness and Founders Table
Founders Table conversations are most useful when you have something concrete for other founders to understand, question, evaluate, or help improve.
The Founder Readiness Assessment is designed to help you identify the work that may need to happen before that type of conversation becomes most valuable.
Before You Begin
Please plan to complete the assessment in one sitting.
The assessment takes approximately 20–30 minutes.
There are no right answers. If you do not know the answer to a question yet, say so. Identifying what is unclear is part of the process.
After you submit the assessment, your personalized Founder Readiness Plan will be generated from your responses and sent to you by email.
